Does it need calibration?
Digital meters do, periodically, using buffer or standard solutions — we supply these. Mechanical gauges do not calibrate but should be replaced when the needle no longer returns to zero at rest.
What readings should I expect in Oman?
Feed water across the Sultanate varies widely by area and by source. For drinking water we target 50 to 150 ppm TDS at the tap; anything much above that is worth investigating. We test on site free of charge and will show you the numbers.
