Does a whole-house filter make the water safe to drink?
Not on its own. It protects pipes and appliances and improves taste, but drinking water should still pass an RO unit or a UV stage at the kitchen tap, depending on your supply. We usually propose a two-step setup: whole-house filtration first, drinking-water treatment second.
