Can I rinse and reuse a cartridge?
Pleated cartridges can be rinsed and reused a few times. Spun and carbon cartridges cannot — carbon is exhausted chemically, not just blocked, so washing it achieves nothing. Replace those rather than cleaning them.
Which size do I need?
Measure the cartridge you are replacing, or the housing. Ten inch and twenty inch are the common lengths, in slim or Big Blue diameter. Send us a photo with a tape measure alongside and we will identify it.
