Description
Antiscalant is the cheapest insurance an RO plant buys. Dosed at a few parts per million ahead of the membranes, it keeps calcium carbonate, calcium sulphate, barium and silica in solution instead of letting them crystallise on the membrane surface. This drum is a broad spectrum liquid antiscalant suited to the high hardness groundwater found across Oman.

How should this be stored and handled?
In a cool, dry, shaded and ventilated place, sealed in its original container. Keep oxidisers and acids apart. Wear gloves and eye protection when decanting, and always add chemical to water rather than water to chemical.
What dose rate should I use?
Dose rate depends on your water analysis and system flow, so it should be set from a test rather than a default. We will calculate it from your readings and set the dosing pump accordingly.
