How much media does my vessel need?
It depends on vessel diameter and height — a 10×54 vessel and a 13×54 hold very different volumes. Tell us the size stamped on your tank and we will confirm the exact quantity, including the gravel underbed.
Can I change the media myself?
It is possible but heavy and awkward, and the laterals underneath break easily if the old bed is removed carelessly. We carry out media changes across Oman including disposal of the spent bed and a full commissioning afterwards.
